Krasnoyarsk region

Krasnoyarsk region is a geographical center of Russia. It’s unique Siberian region which occupies 1/10 part of the Russian Federation. Its territory is 2339.7 thousand km² , it’s 10 times more than Great Britain and 4,5 times more than France.

Krasnoyarsk region is one of the reaches with natural resources in Russia. Natural reserve of the region is a base of investment attraction and the base of its future development.

Krasnoyarsk people are the “richest” in the world: each person “has” 4800 cbm of timber. To comparison: each Russian “has” only 510cbm of timber and each person of the Earth “has” 80 cbm.

Industrial developing doesn’t touch upon the most part of territory. According to reports of scientists, our region is the most ecologically clean one in Russia and may be in a world!

Various and rich flora of Krasnoyarsk region has great bio-resource potential.

Total potential of non-wood forest resources of Krasnoyarsk region is estimated in 1 billion USD, but in fact it’s used little part of available non-wood forest resource. (Not more than 1%).
